Lockard & Williams is committed to educating employees on how to use their employer sponsored benefits to the max! We will gladly attend your annual open enrollment meetings and explain your selected plan designs. With changes constantly being made to the federal regulations, we know how important it is to keep our clients and their employees updated.

Once the plan year begins, the enrollment of new hires would be handled by the group’s staff. However, we will gladly assist with these meetings if requested. We also encourage all employees to contact our office if they ever have questions or concerns.

Reimbursement Filing Procedures

 

There are two simple ways for employees to be reimbursed through their Flexible Spending Accounts and/or Health Reimbursement Arrangements.

The first way for the employee to access their benefit election dollars would be by using their “Take Care” Visa Flex Benefits Card for qualified purchases. When the employee uses their “Take Care” Card for qualified purchases, the money is instantly deducted from their Flex Benefit Account. This is the most convenient way for employees to take advantage of their spending account.

If the “Take Care” Visa Flex Benefits Card is not available, the Employee may pay their Provider directly, submit a paper claim, and wait for a reimbursement check. This process generally takes one to two weeks, depending on the group set up. Claim forms are accessible by the employer, Lockard & Williams via mail, email or fax, or by logging into a personal account online at www.myflexonline.com under “Request Payment.”

Accessing Your Account

An employee may access their account 24 hours a day, seven days a week by visiting www.myflexonline.com. The employee will be able to review their current and prior year statements, balance, pending payments, past payments and user information. They will also have access to order additional “Take Care” Visa Flex Benefits Card if offered by their group’s plan.
